Hello! Happy New Year and welcome to my website!
This site has had a very long journey in its creation, but I want to thank my very good friend, Tamera Miller, for setting it up for me!!
2018 has started off with me being sick… oh joy. I actually lost my voice just the other day and I sounded like a duck. For someone who never shuts up, losing your voice is a very inconvenient and horrible thing to have to deal with, let me tell you! I ended up hosting my first radio show of 2018 by playing mostly music as opposed to the usual banter and news related content I usually portray during the program. However, I took a page out of Phoebe (from “Friends”) book and tried to lower my voice to a more ‘sultry’ tone, and it actually worked! lol
I was very blessed in 2017 to have great experiences, such as having the opportunity and honour of emceeing some panels at Fan Expo Vancouver, with amazing voice talent such as Veronica Taylor (Ash from Pokémon and Sailor Pluto from Sailor Moon,) Josh Grelle (Armin from Attack on Titan and Yuri from Yuri!!! On Ice,) as well as Rob Paulsen (Yakko Warner and Pinky from Animaniacs) and Maurice LaMarche (The Brain from Animaniacs et al.) It was so much fun, and seeing the crowds of excited fans so enthusiastically interacting with all of them really got my own excitement levels going!
This year, I am no longer involved as a staff member of Anime Revolution, so much has changed between 2017 and 2018. This is another reason I have stepped up my actions towards reaching my goals of becoming a performer and hopefully having the chance to ‘tour’ around a few conventions and perform for people there! I have some new costumes in the works, as well as a few new parody songs, and I’m looking to FINALLY debut more original music as well! So, I’m anxious, and excited, to see where 2018 will take me!
I think I’ll also be posting News items relating to upcoming performances, and also playlists for my weekly radio show, which takes place Sundays from 2-4 PM Pacific Time. If you are local to Kamloops, you can tune in to 92.5 FM on the radio to hear it live. You can also stream it live anywhere in the world, by visiting thex.ca or via the “TUNEIN” radio app on your smart device!
Thank you once again for checking things out! I wish you all a Happy New Year, and I hope you will come back regularly to enjoy the show!
~Jeremy 🙂
